The Reformed Low Dutch Church first stood in a building used from 1733 to 1798 about 1/4 mile west on the north side of the road, then in a second building from 1798 to 1861 on the south side of the road nearly opposite the first, and its present building was erected in 1861. Its pastors included George Michael Weiss, 1732-1765; Johannes Schuneman, 1753-1794; Jacob Sicles, 1797-1801; Henry Ostrander, 1801-1819; Gilbert Robert Livingston, 1811-1828; Jeremiah Pearle, 1827-1851; Philip Peltz, 1851-1857; Jacob C. Dutcher, 1857-1858; Seth M. P. Hastings, 1858-1870; Maurice G. Hansen, 1871-1881; Bergen Brokaw Staats, 1882-1890; Peter Kenny Hageman, 1890-1894; Walter Winant, 1894-1901; Eugene Hill, 1897-1901; Theodore M. Shipherd, 1902-1904; Henry Sluyter, 1904-1910; William Alexander Dumont, 1911-1928; Maurice G. Nies, 1928-1929; and Frederick Richard Bosce(?), 1936-.
