Built in 1923 in a park donated to the city on the 25th anniversary of its founding, the pavilion used some wood from floats in the Jubilee Parade. The Nordheim Brass Band, first organized in 1896, gave many typical German concerts here, and through the years the pavilion became a focal point of civic entertainment.
