Makoshika Dinosaur Museum was a private, non-profit regional museum in Glendive in eastern Montana. Opened in 2004 in a building dating to the 1900s, it became part of the Montana Dinosaur Trail and reflected the broader paleontological interest of eastern Montana. Before closing, it attracted about 1,500 to 2,000 visitors each summer and featured dinosaur casts, sculptures, and fossils from around the world. Its significance lay in connecting local visitors and travelers to dinosaur exhibits within a regional network centered on the area's prehistoric heritage.
