B. T. Brown Reservoir is a 300-acre reservoir in Newnan, Georgia, maintained by the Coweta County Water & Sewerage Authority as part of the county’s water system. Built to serve as a water treatment facility, it was rebuilt at a cost of $13 million and completed in 2006. Drinking-water production began in 2007 at 2 million gallons per day, with a maximum daily capacity of 6 million gallons. Although shown as a protected area, access is limited to Coweta County residents who obtain a permit through the authority. A pavilion formerly stood at the reservoir but has since been removed.
