Two graves were discovered during site preparation for Roanoke/Cashie River Center. They were overgrown with vines and shrubs and had not been tended in many years. One grave dates to 1884, while no date is found on the other headstone. Virtually nothing is known about the history of the graves or of the people buried here. The graves have been left intact as a memorial to all those who have built and shaped the Town of Windsor.
