Hebron Baptist Church is the oldest church in Livingston Parish. It was organized in April 1837. Its first church was a log cabin about 3 miles south of this site. A frame church was built here in 1859 on 4 acres of land. Larger churches were built in 1918 and 1955. Thomas M. Bond was the first pastor.
