The students and alumni of Potsdam State Teachers College served their country in World War II, and Nelson Brownell, Donald Greene, George De Forrest, George Slater, Michael Elliott, Arnold La Graff, John W. Fisher, Everitt Goethe, and Donald Timerman made the supreme sacrifice.
