In 1905, the 64th District School House stood at 6200 South and Redwood Road as a red brick building with two large rooms on the west side and one large room on the east side. The school’s name changed three times within four years, from 64th District School in 1905 to South Taylorsville School in September 1906 and Madison School in May 1908. Its principals were W.R. Wilson from 1905 to 1907, Elizabeth Bennion from 1907 to 1909, Zeretta Frame from 1909 to 1910, Clarissa Saunders from 1910 to 1911, Emma J. Webster from 1911 to 1912, Alta Stookey from 1912 to 1913, and W.R. Wilson again from 1913 to 1915. The Madison School site was sold to Bennion Ward on October 12, 1921.
