Clear Creek State Park
Nature
Clear Creek State Park is a Pennsylvania state park at the meeting of Clear Creek and the Clarion River near Brookville, combining riverside recreation with access to surrounding forest lands. Campsites opened in 1922, and during the Great Depression the Civilian Conservation Corps built many facilities that still define the park; its Day Use District and Family Cabin District were placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987. The park offers hiking, canoeing, fishing, hunting, cabins, yurts, and camping, with trails into Clear Creek State Forest and access to the Clarion River and Kitanning State Forest.
