An Astrodon femur, or thigh bone, was discovered at Dinosaur Park and is the largest dinosaur bone ever found in the eastern United States. It is one of thousands of animal and plant fossils found there. During Open Houses, visitors of all ages can take part in the process of scientific discovery. The Norden family discovered the Astrodon femur in 1991.
