On May 7-11, 1997, over 500 volunteers from Perrysburg and the surrounding communities came together to build an extraordinary playground, and without their drive and commitment, this dream would never have become a reality. In addition to being community built, the playground was funded by donations from hundreds of contributors, whose generosity created a gift for generations of children to come.
