Mount Eisenhower is a 4,757-foot peak in New Hampshire’s Presidential Range of the White Mountains, known for its open summit and sweeping 360-degree views. Once called Mount Pleasant, it was renamed in 1969 to honor President Dwight D. Eisenhower, with federal approval following in 1970. The mountain lies between Mount Pierce and Mount Monroe, with Mount Franklin on the ridge toward Monroe. Though inaccessible by road like the surrounding high peaks, it remains a major hiking destination. The Crawford Path and Appalachian Trail pass near, but not over, the summit, and short connecting trails lead hikers to the top from established routes.
