This road grader was used to help build Route 66 in 1926 and was sold to the city of Elk City by C.H. Nesser for $10.00 in 1931. C.H. Nesser was the grandfather of Norman, Harold, and Herman Nesser, sons of Ernie Nesser, and of Neil, Ray, and Ron Nesser, sons of Carl Nesser.
