This brick building was built in the mid 1880's to match the style of the buildings on either side. It had large floor-to-ceiling windows in the front with tall double doors. Over the years it housed a variety of businesses, including a drug store, jewelry store, dry goods store, and frame shop. In 1910, it was home to the Humboldt Bakery, which had a large brick-style oven in the back and a walk-in freezer there as well.
