Greenmound Veterans Memorial #1 is dedicated to veterans of the World War of 1917–1918 and to the memory of veterans of earlier wars through the efforts of Laroy Farst Post 245. Its honor roll contains 71 names, including 7 killed in action. The wars represented include 1775–1783, 1812–1815, 1861–1865, and 1898.
