Isanaklesh Peaks
Nature
Isanaklesh Peaks is a mountain summit in Arizona rising 2,478 feet, or 755 meters. It was formerly known as Squaw Tits, a name based on the peak’s resemblance to a human breast. That earlier name came to be recognized as offensive because squaw is a derogatory racial epithet aimed at Indigenous people of North America, especially Indigenous women. The summit is now identified as Isanaklesh Peaks.
