Organized in March, 1891, by Rev. J.W. Montgomery, this church was first built by J.M. Dorn and neighbors. People of all faiths worshipped here, and it also served as a schoolhouse and community meeting place. The present church was built in 1905 and renamed Dorn Chapel. Early pews were planks laid over nail kegs.
