Ecotat Gardens and Arboretum is a nonprofit botanical garden and arboretum on Route 2 in Hermon, Maine, spanning 37 hectares, or 91 acres. Open free to the public during daylight hours, it offers space for tours, hikes, and cross-country skiing. The grounds contain more than 55 gardens with over 1,500 herbaceous species and 130 woody species. Its arboretum includes 280 varieties of trees, among them mature stands of Eastern White Pine, White Spruce, Tamarack Larch, Northern White Cypress, Red Oak, White Ash, Red Maple, and Quaking Aspen, and the property also includes a marsh.
