Built in 1929 as the telephone office for Sidney H. Woodruff's Dana Point development, this building still retains many original features on its distinctive street facade, including decorative grilles above the front entry porch topped by the roof's front gable. A later east side addition repeats some of the Spanish Colonial Revival style elements, and the building's original design appeared in a historic photo used in Woodruff's initial advertisement of Dana Point.
