Nathaniel Terry's Grave

Nathaniel Terry was a colonial soldier and statesman who served as sheriff of Halifax County in 1752 and as captain of Rangers in 1755. He was a member of the House of Burgesses from 1755 to 1765 and again from 1771 to 1775, and he also sat in the convention of 1776 that framed the Constitution of Virginia. He died in 1780.
