Donald F. Kennedy was a devoted husband and father of six who spent his lifetime committed to improving the Village of Medina. A local business owner and fixture on Main Street, he owned Kennedy's, a business originally founded by his father. He worked tirelessly to bolster local businesses and the village as a whole, served on the village board for over 12 years as a trustee, deputy mayor, and mayor, and supported many local organizations, including the Medina Memorial Hospital and Foundation Boards, YMCA Board, Medina Chamber of Commerce, Decorate Medina Committee, and Rotary. He also developed Kennedy Circle in memory of his father, John P. Kennedy, and was a founding member of the Medina Development Association.
