Nature
Monument Hill is a summit in the Beezley Hills of central Washington and the second highest point in Grant County. Rising to either 2,882 or 2,886 feet, it stands out in an otherwise arid landscape as one of the region’s more prominent high points. Monument Hill Road reaches nearly to the top, and a short spur continues to an antenna farm on the summit. That installation houses the transmitters for KWWW-FM and KZML, giving the mountain significance not only for its elevation and visibility but also for its practical role in regional broadcasting.
