From 1941 to 1945, all who served their country from Cassville were honored in a memorial roll that named hundreds of individuals, including Gerald Adams, Joe Ambrose, Morris D. Ammons, Howard G. Ash, John J. Barber, Bennett Bernard, Geo. W. Bircher, James H. Collins, Russell Farley, Raymond Flint, Eugene G. Henry, Theodore W. Miller, George H. Neese, William J. Woods, Roy Scott Jeffers, and many others.
