The Dakota Territory Air Museum in Minot, North Dakota, serves as an aviation history resource focused on the people, aircraft, and events that shaped flight. Founded in 1986, it opened its first building in 1988 and soon expanded, later adding a hangar in 2013 for aircraft linked to the Texas Flying Legends Museum. Its facilities include exhibit spaces, outdoor displays, and restoration and aircraft hangars, with displays that change as some planes travel to air shows or other museums. A major seasonal feature is the spring arrival of World War II warbirds from Texas, typically displayed through July. Since 2014, it has also hosted the Magic City Discovery Center.
