Faver-Dykes State Park is a Florida park about 15 miles south of St. Augustine along Pellicer Creek, a designated state canoe trail. Set in woods and wetlands, it is a center for outdoor recreation, offering fishing, picnicking, boating, canoeing, camping, and wildlife viewing. Facilities include a full-facility campground, a primitive youth campground, a boat ramp, two half-mile loop nature trails, and two covered pavilions. The park is especially known for its wildlife, including white-tailed deer, bobcats, river otters, and many birds such as bald eagles, falcons, hawks, egrets, wood storks, white ibis, wild turkeys, and herons.
