The Pacific Northwest Bell Building is a two-story commercial building of concrete with massive timber framing and orange and buff brick veneer. Its classical entryway and use of classical symmetry and balance suggest Renaissance Revival style, while decorative diamond-shaped panels suggest art deco influence. Telephone equipment occupied the ground floor and operators worked on the second floor. The building also contained generators, battery supplies, and sump pumps to protect the valuable telephone equipment. It is a contributing structure in the Lewiston Historic District, which was listed in the National Resister of Historic Places on June 5, 1975.
