The 10 O'Clock Indian Treaty Line was established in 1809. An inset refers to the Grouseland Treaty Line, established in 1805, at a buried stone located 6 feet from this point, though part of the directional text is illegible. The Indiana Centenary marker was erected by the Jackson County Historical Society on Dec. 11, 1916.
