Known as the Old Stone Church, Saddle River Reformed Church and Cemetery has ministered to this area since 1784. The present native-stone structure was completed in 1819. Buried here are the Rev. Stephen Goetschius, minister from 1819 to 1835; the Rev. Dr. Isaac Van Kampen, minister from 1893 to 1935; and many Revolutionary and Civil War veterans.
