Victoria's railroad history included Victoria Yard by July 5, 1911; the second stage of Victoria Station by August 3, 1910; Victoria Station in 1908; an aerial view of the Virginian Railway Yard in Victoria in 1957; a turntable and roundhouse in the late 1950's; the first diesel locomotives in Victoria, followed by the end of steam; the last passenger train on January 29, 1956; a section gang, a crew of track workers employed to maintain a railroad section; and the Virginian Railway Water Tower and Coal Tipple.
