This corner building has housed a drug store since 1913. It was once a two-story building with an elevated parapet and cornice, but a fire in the early 1960s destroyed the second floor. Its longest-running occupant is Newcomb's Drug Store, established in 1955 by prominent cotton farmer Guy Newcomb.
