Jenkins' Ferry Battleground State Park preserves a key Arkansas Civil War landscape along the Saline River in Grant County, where the Battle of Jenkins' Ferry ended in a Union victory on April 30, 1864, during the Red River campaign. The site includes part of the old ferry crossing and a section of the antebellum Little Rock and Camden road, closely linking the ground to the fighting. First established as a Masonic park in the early 20th century, it was given to the state in 1961. Its significance was recognized through listing in the National Register of Historic Places in 1970 and inclusion in the Camden Expedition Sites National Historic Landmark district in 1994.
