Owachomo Natural Bridge is a natural rock arch in Natural Bridges National Monument near Blanding, Utah. A large alcove arch, it is considered the oldest of the monument’s major bridges and one of the region’s longest arches. Spanning about 180 feet and measuring about 27 feet wide, it has one of the longest natural arch spans in the United States. Its name comes from Hopi, meaning “rock mound,” after the formation on the bridge’s east end. Reached by the Natural Bridges Owachomo Trail from the Bridge View loop drive, it remains one of the monument’s best-known features for its size and age in this eroded sandstone landscape.
