The Missouri Pacific Railroad Depot property was placed on the National Register of Historic Places by the United States Department of the Interior, with preservation of the property assisted by the Kansas Heritage Trust Fund and the Kansas State Historical Society, and with appreciation expressed to the city council of Osborne, Kansas, for the donation of 35,000 paving bricks.
