Whitehead Memorial Museum in Del Rio, Texas, is a western museum on South Main Street that preserves local frontier history. Set on a two-and-a-half-acre property, it is especially known for its replica of the Jersey Lilly saloon. The grounds also include the gravesites of Judge Roy Bean and his son Sam, who museum accounts say was killed there in a street fight. Donated to the city and county in 1962 by a Del Rio ranching family, the site continues to serve as a local historical attraction.
