Folck's Mill near Cumberland, Maryland, is an archaeological site preserving the remains of a historic grist and sawmill complex, most visibly the stone foundation of a 30-by-40-foot mill. It is especially significant for its connection to the Battle of Folck's Mill on August 1, 1864, when Union troops under General Benjamin F. Kelley engaged Confederate forces led by General John McCausland as they moved toward Cumberland along the Baltimore Pike after burning Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. For both its industrial history and Civil War importance, the site was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008.
