Dedicated on 26 May 1997, this memorial honors the veterans of Racine and the surrounding area who dutifully served the country, paying tribute to the honor and sacrifice of the men and women who served in World War I, World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, Granada, Panama, and the Persian Gulf, and also honoring prisoners of war and those missing in action whose supreme sacrifice helped keep the nation free.
