The Cedarville Civil War Monument was dedicated to the memory of local heroes of 1861-1865, erected in 1916 by Vinna M. Harper in honor of George W. Harper under the name Filii Veteranorum, with the ideals of loyalty, charity, patriotism, and the motto Gratia Dei Servatus.
