Christman Covered Bridge spans Seven Mile Creek on Eaton-New Hope Road northwest of Eaton in western Ohio. Built in 1895 by prolific Preble County bridge builder Everett S. Sherman, it was the second-to-last covered bridge he constructed there. The project cost about $4,250, with stone from the Eaton Stone Company and masonry by Harry C. Foster. Named for landowner Solomon Christman, whose nearby sawmill left visible remains west of the crossing, the bridge reflects the local industry once tied to the creek. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976, it was rehabilitated in 2007 and 2008 and remained open to traffic in 2016.
