Buckhorn Draw Pictograph Panel in the San Rafael Swell of central Utah preserves painted and carved rock images at an archaeological site along Buckhorn Draw. Most of the panel is in the Barrier Canyon Style, a major regional rock art tradition, with some later Fremont petroglyphs added over older images, creating visible evidence of repeated use across different periods. Because the route through Buckhorn Draw was part of the Old Spanish Trail, frequent passage brought both attention and damage, and the panel suffered repeated vandalism and graffiti. In 1996, Utah and Emery County restored the site during the state's centennial, helping protect an important example of San Rafael Swell rock art.
