The 75th Illinois Infantry served in the 3rd Brigade under Grose, 1st Division under Cruft, 4th Army Corps under Granger. Commanded by Colonel John E. Bennett, it was with Geary's Division from 3 until 6.30 P.M. on November 24th. On the morning of November 25th, 1863, it moved to Missionary Ridge by way of Rossville. Its loss was 2.
