Built in 1905 by A. B. Timmerman for a drug store and funeral parlor, the Timmerman Building stood for 107 years until it was destroyed by fire in 2014. It was also known as the Marshall Building, where Marshall’s clothing store operated for 45 years. Many other businesses, offices, and departments were housed there.
