Moore Mine was founded and active in the 1880’s, with a 10 stamp mill and a 640’ shaft. It was reopened from 1921 until 1929, with a 20 stamp mill and a 2,291’ incline shaft. Its tailing dam extended north to Raley’s. The mine produced $564,624 in gold. Nearby mines included South Jackson, Fern, Kearsling, Hubbard, Aetna and Anita, and the vein and mines continued southwest to Middle Bar. The Moore site is west on Fuller Lane.
