Pythagoras of Samos expressed the relationship of the sides of the right triangle, and Archimedes of Syracuse pursued squaring the circle. An upward-moving arc draws attention to the vertical dimension and to the loving Creator, God, whose wisdom and grace have animated scientists and engineers to place the first man on the moon and will continue to inspire future visionaries to pursue the challenge and exploration of endless space.
