This 1800's log structure was donated to the Town of McLemoresville by the Newman Walpole family of Brownsville, TN in 2007 for use as an historic site, visitor center, and museum annex. Its restoration and furnishings were made possible by the McLemoresville Mayor and City Board and by many generous individuals who donated their time and talents to make this project part of the history of the area.
