Lake June in Winter Scrub State Park is a Florida state park about seven miles southwest of Lake Placid. Occupying the entire western shore of Lake June in Winter, it preserves a lakeside scrub environment closely tied to both the lake and the shoreline landscape from which it takes its name. The park is open daily from 8 a.m. until sundown, including holidays, and admission costs $2.00 per vehicle.
