A building on this site housed the Lee College Music Department from 1947 to 1995 before being replaced by the current School of Music building on Parker Street. It was a two-story, long rectangular structure with a single hallway running from the east entrance to the other end. It contained classrooms, faculty studios, and a small second-floor rehearsal hall that served all choirs and bands for almost fifty years.
