Rev. Benjamin F. Fry participated in the Siege of Bexar in 1835, the Battle of San Jacinto in 1836, and the Mexican War in 1846. He was born in Georgia on September 15, 1800, and died in Texas on October 3, 1872. His wife was Nancy Carter Fry, who was born in Georgia and died in 1867.
