Brenda K Henson was a devoted wife, nurturing mother, loving grandmother and daughter, an ordained minister, and pastor of Faith Assembly of God Church in Greenville. She was a major part of the Greenville community and cared deeply for children. After serving for several years as the junior high school secretary, she opened Jonah's Java as a place for children to enjoy after school, where a hot meal awaited them along with games and activities. Through her church, she also started a food pantry and provided food to anyone in need in the community. Her legacy of smiles, laughter, kindness, love of God, and love of community lives on through the joy this playground will bring to children, families, and friends for years to come.
