Forked Run State Park is a public recreation area in eastern Meigs County, Ohio, about three miles south of Reedsville on Ohio State Route 124. Covering 791 acres, including a 102-acre lake, it adjoins Shade River State Forest. The park was created from the state forest in 1951 and opened in 1952 after completion of its dam. It now offers varied outdoor recreation, including camping, rustic cabins, picnic areas, hiking trails, a swimming beach, boat ramps, and a disc golf course. Its proximity to an Ohio River boat ramp also makes it a useful base for boaters using the river.
