Turnersburg Methodist Church was organized in 1874, rebuilt in 1906, moved in 1931 from its original location one mile west on Rocky Creek, and discontinued in 1954. Its inscription includes the biblical invitation, “Come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest,” from Matthew 11:28.
